MA Media Studies (Film) Mitch Albom’s Tuesdays with Morrie is my favorite novel. One reason is it’s the first book that I bought for myself. But more than that, I love the novel because the conversations between Mitch and Morrie heartwarmingly discussed love, regrets, life, and death. The Ron Clark Story is my favorite film. The film is based on the real life story of Ron Clark, an educator from North Carolina who left his stable and comfortable life to follow his inner calling, which is to educate those that the society has labelled “worthless”. Ron Clark’s journey which was featured in the film spoke volumes to me that’s why it is one of my favorites. My favorite media practitioner is Prof. Sorhaila Latip-Yusoph. I learned about her and her works just last year and I became an instant fan for hers. She easily became one of my favorites because we both hailed from Development Communication and I admire her work in peace education and communication. The Carpenters is my favorite artist of all-time. I grew up listening to their songs. Their mellow music is my go-to playlist for all occasions especially when I was still writing my undergraduate thesis. And until now, their songs keep me company from morning hustle to late night dawdle. My favorite internet site is Wix. Lately, I’ve been into designing websites, and Wix is a great platform for beginners like me who knows little about coding. It allows me to create functional websites by just dragging and dropping elements and requires minimum knowledge on html coding. My favorite food is potato salad. Living far from home, this meal reminds me of home because this is my mom’s specialty, and of course her take on this is my favorite.
