Alan Young - author. blogger. weirdo.

Alan Young is a novelist, screenwriter, and blogger who has a love for sci-fi, fantasy, and most of all, quirky and unusual characters. His clever, ironic, and heartwarming stories explore characters facing spectacular forces while having to navigate their everyday lives. He has also written extensively about his transition out of a high-demand religion and explored the struggles of making meaning out of a secular world. In addition to writing books and short stories, his blog explores films and music that are often overlooked or underappreciated. When he is not busy writing, he enjoys watching terrible B-movies and spending time with his family in Covina.
