La Candelaria NYC is named after the historic center and colonial neighborhood, La Candelaria, located in downtown Bogota. Married to a Colombian and living in NYC, we were disappointed with the lack of Colombian offerings in NYC. I started this blog as a place to keep my Colombian recipes (and not-so Colombian recipes), as well as to share the culinary and cultural offerings with the public.
