Nicholas Michael Hallahan

Nicholas Michael Hallahan, known to many as Nick Hallahan, has dedicated most of his life to the water and the world of boating. Growing up in Missouri near the Lake of the Ozarks, he learned early the importance of respecting the water, maintaining equipment, and taking full responsibility for every vessel he operated. What started as simple weekends on small boats became a lifelong career built on skill, patience, and consistency. He is a USGS 200-ton Captain with over 15 years of experience operating and maintaining yachts throughout the Gulf Coast, East Coast, and Caribbean. From his early years on the lake, he developed a deep understanding of the water’s rhythm and the importance of preparation. When he earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Troy University, he knew his professional path would stay tied to the sea. After graduation, he moved to Florida and began working in every capacity that allowed him to grow—spending time in the engine room, at the helm, and along the docks. Those early experiences became the foundation of his professional development. Nick Hallahan began as a deckhand and later became a mate, gaining experience on vessels ranging from 40 to over 100 feet. Through dedication and steady progress, he earned his OUPV (six-pack) license and later his 200 Ton Master’s license, STCW95 Basic Training, Maritime Security Awareness, and several engineering certifications. His work includes experience aboard yachts such as Better Boat, Blue Eyed Girls, Happy Hour, LUMAR, and Love Life, operating vessels up to 143 feet. He is known for his hands-on approach, managing yacht care's technical and operational sides. From routine maintenance and refits to overseeing daily operations, he ensures that each vessel runs efficiently and safely. His leadership style is based on communication, accountability, and respect, earning trust from both crew and owners. Outside work, he enjoys boating, snorkeling, spearfishing, off-roading, and volunteering with the Shy Wolf Sanctuary. With a strong work ethic and years of proven experience, Nicholas Michael Hallahan continues to build his private and charter yachting career, providing reliability, professionalism, and peace of mind to every owner he serves.
