Ricardo Rios

Ricardo Rios is a researcher at the Universisty of the State of Amazonas (UEA), where he serves as a research supervisor specialising in high-performance computing infrastructures and intelligent systems. His academic and technical work is characterised by the integration of advanced technologies for the processing and analysis of complex data. His research interests focus on: - Intelligent Systems and AI: Development and application of multimodal language models (MLLMs) and context engineering techniques for autonomous systems. - Distributed Systems: Middleware architecture and scalable processing solutions geared towards high performance and availability. - Event-Driven Systems: Design of efficient architectures for the detection, processing and temporal analysis of events. - Big Data Computing and IoT: Application of large-scale analysis algorithms for Internet of Things (IoT) scenarios. His technical skills include proficiency in C/C++, Python and Qt, which are applied at the intersection of Mathematical Logic, the Semantic Web and Information Systems to advance data-driven computing.
