I am an instructor of Computer Science and Computer Applications at Estrella Mountain Community College in Avondale, AZ (just west of Phoenix) where I am fulltime residential faculty in the Instructional Computing Department since 2000. I teach courses in programming languages – JAVA, C , and Visual Basic – and the Microsoft Office Suite of Applications. In addition, I am a PhD level student in French Literature at the University of Arizona. Both Gender and Women’s Studies and Educational Technology are my PhD minors. I taught Mathematics and Computer Science at the high school level in the School District of Philadelphia and in the Phoenix Union High School District.
